Neudorf Vineyards are based at the top of New Zealand’s South Island, on the ancient gravelly clays of the Moutere Hills. A superb small sized estate that produce great wines.
Drink gently chilled with something spicy, be it fish, tofu or chicken – this wine is a go to for ‘hard to match’ dishes. So if you have lime, coriander and chilli on the bench to cook with, you need this in the fridge and a glass in your hand.
Tasting notes: A luscious, dry, refreshing Pinot Gris with white pepper, fresh green herbs, peach and ripe mango bound in a lassoo of acidity. This wine is all about mouthfeel – it’s got depth, viscocity, and richness while staying deliciously clean and deceptively moreish.
